Kristine Bostek elected as Mass PACE Association Board Chair

VP of Fallon Health’s PACE programs to serve 2-year term

Boston, Mass., February 1, 2022— MassPACE announced Kristine Bostek, who leads Fallon Health’s PACE programs in Massachusetts and New York, was elected as the new Association Board Chair beginning January 1, 2022 and extending through January 1, 2024. In this role, she will help lead the association in its work to expand comprehensive health care services to thousands of older adults in the Commonwealth.

“MassPACE’s focus on advocating to make PACE available to all eligible consumers in Massachusetts supports the provision of an important option for our aging population,” said Bostek. “I am honored to have been chosen by my peers to serve as Chair, and I look forward to continuing our efforts to advocate for the health and wellness of older adults.”

Bostek became the Vice President of Fallon Health’s Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) in 2019, bringing more than 30 years’ experience in both the health care and insurance industries including five years in various management roles for Fallon’s senior care products. Under her leadership, Fallon’s PACE grew to include six locations (three in Worcester County) and is currently the 10th largest program in the country, according to the National PACE Association (NPA). Fallon was also selected to participate in NPA’s PACE 2.0 growth initiative, a continuous learning and improvement collaborative bringing the transformative care model of PACE to more communities and populations.

Bostek is a member of the NPA Board of Directors. She also serves as the board Chair for the Boys & Girls Club of Worcester and is on the Board of Trustees for the Reliant Foundation. She holds a master’s degree in health administration from Clark University and bachelor’s degree in economics from Saint Michael’s College.

“We are fortunate to have Kristine’s leadership as chair of the MassPACE board. She is a highly respected health care leader who has demonstrated a deep commitment to older adults in the diverse communities we serve,” said Candace Kuebel, Executive Director for MassPACE. “I look forward to working with Kris and the entire MassPACE board in the coming years as we focus on advocacy efforts to promote awareness and access to PACE for individuals seeking a community-based alternative to nursing facility care.”

Other officers elected include Jed Geyerhahn, Executive Director of CHA PACE as Treasurer and Rita Blanter, Executive Director of Serenity Care PACE as Clerk.
