Worcester, Mass., September 6, 2023— Fallon Health, a nationally recognized not-for-profit health care services organization, is pleased to announce that Katherine Record has been hired as Vice President of Medicaid. In this position, Katherine is responsible for the oversight and growth of Fallon Health’s three MassHealth Accountable Care Organization (ACO) partnership plans and other Medicaid programs.

"Serving individuals eligible for Medicaid is central to Fallon Health’s commitment to providing equitable, high-quality coordinated care at an affordable cost," said Matt Herndon, Senior Vice President and Chief State Programs Officer at Fallon Health. “We are thrilled to welcome Katherine and to leverage her experience and expertise to enhance care and services for our members.”

Katherine brings a wealth of experience within the health care industry ranging from public health law and policy to innovative pilot design and health care reform. Most recently, she held various executive leadership roles at Beth Israel Lahey Health Performance Network overseeing their Medicaid ACO programs. Prior to that, Katherine led work related to behavioral health integration at the Massachusetts Health Policy Commission. She is also a former professor of Health Law and Public Health Law at Harvard Law School and the Harvard School of Public Health, respectively.
